Acal Supply Chain

History

The Supply Chain Division of Acal comprises Acal Supply Chain Limited (formerly EAF (UK) Limited, ServiceSource Europe, Computer Parts International Limited) & EAF GmbH.

Computer Parts International (CPI) was created in 1990 and developed through the nineties from a parts reseller into a technical specialist supplying parts and solutions for the midrange and mainframe support market.  Acal took a minority stake in CPI in 2003 and purchased the remaining share capital in 2006. 

EAF was established in 1974 initially as a computer cleaning product specialist.  Over the years the company diversified into a Laptop, Desktop and Wintel parts specialist, developing relationships with many of Europes leading OEM's.  EAF also has a division based in Goch, Germany.  The company was purchased by Acal plc in 1996.

ServiceSource Europe Limited was originally founded in 1987 as Delostar Electronics.  The company experienced significant growth in their core market in the supply PC service spares and was acquired in October 2007 by Flextronics, one of the world's largest manufacturing supply chain organisations.  In March 2008 a management buyout of ServiceSource took place and in January 2009 the company was acquired by Acal plc.

Under the Acal Supply Chain banner the group now provides complementary services across the full IT platform, and is better positioned to supply a substantial multivendor, multiplatform product scope.
