We are committed to investing in the latest technology and work closely with our customers in determining which systems require critical spares support.
The 9119-595 is the most powerful IBM System P server, with advanced virtualisation technology and capacity on demand options.
As a significant investment the server will be used to provide ‘hot spares’ and product support services to our customers who are already maintaining these systems out in the field.
This new addition joins an impressive line up of systems held in our Nottingham Computer Room facility. Almost 100 servers and mainframe systems are installed within our technical facility, in addition to the associated expansion units and tape libraries.
Our technical services team has been working with enterprise level equipment for over 20 years and our facility contains a full suite of current and legacy products. Over 7000 square feet is dedicated to our Technical services department, with half taken up by our under floor air conditioned computer room.
