Warrington, UK – March 4, 2011 – Acal Supply Chain Limited, the leading independent provider of service part supply chains in Europe today announced that it has signed a new three-year service logistics outsourcing contract with Getronics in The Netherlands, one of the Worlds’ leading ICT service providers.
Acal Supply chain has been a trusted supplier of Getronics for over ten years supporting the multi-vendor service business across EMEA with service parts.
The new deal cements this working partnership significantly increasing Acal’s functional responsibility. Transforming Getronics’ handing of service inventory Acal will be providing full inventory ownership and management, reverse logistics, repair and full supply responsibility for the WMS NL business.
Implementing key IT interfaces, Acal will introduce a service delivery model that will automate the whole parts supply and management activity, and ensuring field service activity is optimised through efficient parts planning and distribution models.

The 3 year deal is expected to deliver significant cost savings, minimise risk and provide the commercial, financial and technical flexibility to support Getronics’ business plans.
